NCBWA June 4 Division I Poll

NCBWA LogoDALLAS – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 16th year with its 2013 weekly surveys. Polls will be circulated from Feb. 18-June 27 following the 67th annual NCAA World Series in Omaha, Neb., at TD Ameritade Park.

Arkansas (preseason), North Carolina (next 10 surveys), Vanderbilt (April 29-May 20), and LSU (May 27-June 4) have been No. 1 during 2013. All eight NCAA Super Regional hosts are ranked among last and this week’s Top 30. The next-to-last NCBWA poll will be released after the June 8-11 NCAA Super Regional contests prior to the CWS.

This week’s poll has representation by 12 different conferences among the 298 baseball-playing schools in the 2012 NCAA Division I ranks, and there have been 18 circuits or independents in the surveys this season.
