2013 Super Regional Schedule Announced

CWS LogoINDIANAPOLIS—The eight super-regional hosts were announced today by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee.

A minimum of 45 hours of super-regional television will be provided by family of ESPN channels, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. Consult local listings for specific games shown in each area of the country. As many as 15 national broadcast windows could appear on the three ESPN networks from June 7-10.
The following four super regionals will be played Friday, June 7, Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9 (if necessary). The national seed is indicated before the team name, while updated records through the regionals are in parenthesis.

GAMES BEGIN FRIDAY, JUNE 7 – All Times are Eastern
South Carolina (42-18) at No. 1 North Carolina (55-9)
1 p.m. (ESPN2), Noon (ESPN), 1 p.m. (ESPN)

Rice (44-18) at North Carolina State (47-14)
4 p.m. (ESPN2), 4 p.m. (ESPN2), 4 p.m. (ESPNU)

Oklahoma (43-19) at No. 4 LSU (55-9)
7 p.m. (ESPN), 7 p.m. (ESPN2), 7 p.m. (ESPN2)

UCLA (42-17) at No. 5 Cal State Fullerton (51-8)
7 p.m. (ESPN2), 10 p.m. (ESPN2), 10 p.m. (ESPN2)

The following four best-of-three super regionals will be played Saturday, June 8, Sunday, June 9, and Monday, June 10 (if necessary).

Mississippi State (46-18) at No. 6 Virginia (47-10)

Louisville (49-12) at No. 2 Vanderbilt (54-10)
3 p.m. (ESPN), 4 p.m. (ESPN), 7 p.m. (ESPN2)

Kansas State (44-17) at No. 3 Oregon State (48-10)
7 p.m. (ESPNU), 10 p.m. (ESPNU), 7 p.m. (ESPNU)

The determination of the Men’s College World Series order of first-round games both Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, will be announced Monday, June 10. The ESPN family of networks and www.NCAA.com/cws will release the CWS game dates and times as soon as they are available. The 67th College World Series begins play Saturday, June 15, at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
