SEC Tournament Game Two: Auburn vs. Alabama

sec_baseball_13The Alabama Crimson Tide sent the Tigers packing on Tuesday afternoon as they defeated Auburn 6-3 in the single-elimination SEC Tournament game. Ben Moore, Austen Smith and Brett Booth all had multiple-hits for the Crimson Tide, combining for three of Alabama’s RBI and four of their runs. On the mound, Jay Shaw was lights-out for Alabama as he pitched 5.0 scoreless innings allowing just four hits and a walk.

Auburn led Alabama for most of the game until a three-run bottom of the eighth by the Crimson Tide put the Tigers behind for good.
