#6 Ole Miss (37-19, 15-14)

The Rebels have been a bit up and down throughout the season, however when Ole Miss is on their A-game, they can compete with the best.  Offensively, Rebel leadoff man Tanner Mathis is one of the hottest bats in the SEC coming off of a 7-10 weekend at LSU. Pair Mathis’s current hot-streak with the consistent bats of Turner, Mistone and Anderson, and the Rebel offense has the ability to do some damage in Hoover.

Series Wins Over: Arkansas (2-1), Alabama (3-0), Tennessee (3-0), Mississippi State (2-1),

Series Losses Against: Texas A&M (1-2), Florida (1-2), Vanderbilt (0-3), Kentucky (1-2), Auburn (1-2), LSU (1-2)

#11 Kentucky (30-24, 11-19)

Coming off of three consecutive SEC series losses, the Wildcats enter the SEC Tournament with everything to prove. Kentucky has a strong RPI working in their favor, however if the Wildcats want a chance at making the NCAA Tournament, success in Hoover is critical. Although Kentucky hasn’t been very successful in recent weeks, the Wildcats possess a slew of talented pitchers that have the potential to be a strong asset for Kentucky if they can perform under pressure.

Series Wins Over: Florida (2-1), Mississippi State (2-1), Georgia (2-1), Ole Miss (2-1),

Series Losses Against: LSU (0-3), Tennessee (1-2), South Carolina (0-3), Arkansas (1-2), Vanderbilt (0-3), Missouri (1-2)

#7 Alabama (32-24, 14-15)

Alabama made waves over the weekend after a very strong series against #1 Vanderbilt, highlighted by a 5-4 extra inning win on Friday. Despite losing the series, the weekend showed that the Crimson Tide has the ability to compete with anyone in the country. With a total of 21 runs scored over the weekend against one of the top pitching staffs in the country, the Alabama bats seem to be heating up at just the right time.

Series Wins Over: Tennessee (2-1), Georgia (3-0), Auburn (2-1), Texas A&M (2-0), Missouri (2-1),

Series Losses Against: Arkansas (1-2), Ole Miss (0-3), LSU (1-2), Mississippi State (0-3), Vanderbilt (1-2)

#10 Auburn (33-22, 13-17)

Auburn is one of the hottest teams in the country right now coming off of three consecutive SEC series wins over Arkansas, Florida and Ole Miss. After a rough start to conference play, the Tigers have been fighting back with strong wins and impressive play to get back on track to hopefully making the post season. With an RPI that has been jumping week-by-week, success in Hoover could potentially solidify an NCAA Tournament bid for Auburn.

Series Wins Over: Texas A&M (2-1), Georgia (2-1), Ole Miss (2-1), Florida (2-1), Arkansas (2-1)

Series Losses Against: Vanderbilt (0-3), LSU (0-3), Alabama (1-2), Mississippi State (1-2), Missouri (1-2)

#3 Arkansas (35-19, 18-11)

After a tough series loss to Auburn, Arkansas has a bye in Hoover before facing the winner of Ole Miss and Kentucky on Wednesday.  The Razorbacks currently have the lowest team ERA in the country sitting at just 1.90. The depth of the Arkansas pitching staff is an asset that has the opportunity to really give the Razorbacks an advantage in both the SEC tournament and the rest of the post season. However, the Razorbacks will also have to find a way to put up some runs to succeed in Hoover.

Series Wins Over: South Carolina (3-0), Mississippi State (2-1), Alabama (2-1), Texas A&M (2-1), Georgia (2-0), Kentucky (2-1), Tennessee (2-1),

Series Losses Against: Ole Miss (1-2), LSU (1-2), Auburn (1-2)

#2 LSU (48-8, 23-7)

As unanimously one of the top teams in the country, LSU enters the SEC tournament with just one series loss on the year where after a bye on Tuesday, they will face the winner of Auburn and Alabama on Wednesday. The Tigers head to Hoover with a team batting average of .312 and a team ERA of just 2.53. With one of the best batting orders in the country as well as a deep pitching staff, LSU is the team to beat in bracket one of the SEC Tournament.

Series Wins Over: Mississippi State (2-1), Auburn (3-0), Missouri (3-0), Kentucky (3-0), Arkansas (2-1), Alabama (2-1), Florida (3-0), Texas A&M (2-1), Ole Miss (2-1)

Series Losses Against: South Carolina (1-2)
