College Baseball Daily has learned that Dave Perno has been dismissed as head coach at Georgia. The story first appeared in the Atlanta Journal Constitution before being confirmed by CBD sources.
Perno has struggled in the last five years where they are 31 games below .500 in SEC play (56-87). He had an overall record of 399-334 in his 12-year career, 160-189-1 in SEC play.
