Home 2013 Season Coverage2013 Regional Projections 2013 NCAA Regional Projections (April 10th)

13regionalprojections_smAs we’re now just past the halfway mark of the 2013 college baseball season, College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to Selection Monday with our latest 2013 Regional Projections.

For this week’s projections, instead of being solely compiled based on RPI like they have been done in past weeks, every aspect was taken into consideration. College Baseball Daily’s Ginger Poulson (@gingerpoulson) compiled this list after analyzing RPI, overall records, conference standings, overall talent and several other factors. If you have any questions about the projections feel free to leave a comment below or send her a tweet.

Enjoy the regional projections!

Just curious as to how it’s even remotely possible for Alabama State to get a 3 seed when they aren’t even in 1st place in the SWAC… They have lost 4 times on the weeken to Alcorn State… That’s like half of Alcorns wins… Just saying

Pittsburgh will have there hands full the next two weekends with notre dame and Rutgers than playing the bottom of the big east till last weekend of the season. Good chance they get in if they can got 4-2 the next two weekends

Btw next week can you put the breakdown of teams u have in from the conferences in the bottom by who u picked to be the automatic (example: big east 3 teams)

Yes I can! That’s a great idea. And I agree about Pitt as well!

Ginger what would be your first 5 teams out and your last 5 teams in?

I sure hope you are wrong about the Sun Belt getting only 2 teams in the field. The Belt is way up with a conference RPI at # 4 right now, I would hope they would get 3 or 4 teams in. My guess would be FAU, South Alabama, Louisiana-Lafayette and possibly Troy or Middle Tenn. State. You have Oklahoma State in with a current RPI of 110? The worst RPI of the Sun Belt teams mentioned above is 61
