Legendary Miami (FL) Hurricanes head baseball coach Ron Fraser passed away on Sunday at the age of 79 after battling Alzheimer’s disease the last few years. Fraser led the Canes to two national titles in 1982 and 1985 while bringing the school to 12 College World Series appearances in 30 seasons. He changed the way College Baseball was dealt with across the country. You can check out all the tributes from across the country below.

Texas Longhorn fans mourn the loss of Ron Fraser. He was a visionary and a great promoter for college baseball. He had much to do with the current popularity of the sport.

Ron Fraser will be sorely missed. RIP Coach ! I saw more than 1,000 of the games you coached.
