St. John’s will name Corey Muscara as pitching coach according to CBD sources close to the situation. Muscara served as an assistant coach last season at Southern New Hampshire where he helped lead the Penmen to a 43-15 overall record and 12-9 in the Northeast-10 conference. He spent the 2010-2011 season at Binghamton under Tim Sinicki after spending the previous two seasons with Southern New Hampshire. More information will be available soon.

Tough shoes to fill with Scott Brown leaving but I am sure Coach Blankmeyer has plenty of faith in his new pitching coach Corey Muscara.
