HYANNIS, Mass. — The 2012 Cape Cod Baseball League playoff picture is now set with the completion of its 44-game schedule earlier last night.
Eight of the 10 CCBL teams have qualified for the playoffs, with only Hyannis and Brewster being the odd teams out as the last place teams in the West and East Divisions respectively.
EASTERN DIVISION
Harwich is the #1 seed by winning the Eastern Division (55 points).
YD is the #2 seed (50 points).
Chatham is the #3 as they finished tied with Orleans in points, but win the tiebreaker by virtue of winning their series with Orleans 4-2 (44 points).
Orleans is the #4 seed (44 points).
WESTERN DIVISION
Cotuit is the #1 seed (overall as well) by winning the Western Division (60 points).
Wareham is the #2 seed as they finished tied with Falmouth in points, but win the tiebreaker by virtue of winning their series with Falmouth 4-2 (42 points).
Falmouth is the #3 seed as they finished tied with Wareham in points, but lose the tiebreaker by virtue of losing their series with Wareham 4-2 (42 points).
Bourne is the #4 seed as they tied for the last playoff spot with Hyannis, but win the tiebreaker by virtue of winning their series with Hyannis 4-2 (34 points).

1. Cotuit – 60 points
2. Harwich – 55 points
3. YD – 50 points
4. Chatham – 44 points
5. Orleans – 44 points
6. Wareham – 42 points
7. Falmouth – 42 points
8. Bourne – 34 points
