Now that the top 100 players have been posted, I will express my surprise that Tony Renda – Cal was left off the list.  In 2010, he was first team Pac 10 and a Freshman All-American.  As a sophomore in 2011, he was Pac 10 Player of the Year and led his team to the CWS.

Let’s be honest, there were at least 8 other players above Renda in the Pac-10 in the Overall leader catagories and he was number ???.  Hmmm…..  I’m still scratching my head about that one….

Maybe if his OPS didn’t drop 182 points, drew a walk more than once every 5 games, and didn’t run himself into outs on the basepaths, Renda would make the top 100. I’ve seen the guy mash but he’s not Top 100.

how do you leave off outfielders Pablo Bermudez and Jabari Henry from your list from FIU?
