South Carolina backup sophomore infielder Jake Watson has decided to transfer to Louisburg Junior College to continue his baseball career. He  joins infielder Mikal Hill (Miami-Dade JC) and outfielder Reid Moman to leave the program at the end of the semester. Watson appeared in 10 games during 2011 going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. He walked once, struck out once, stole a base, and without making an error in the field.
