College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2012 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.
We continue the countdown today at number 73 with Miami (FL) sophomore LHP Bryan Radziewski. The Miami, Florida native attended Florida Christian School playing under Ernie Padron for his prep school baseball. He had an outstanding career going  28-6 on the mound while having a .468 batting average with 38 RBI and five homeruns. As a senior, he went 8-2 with a 0.87 ERA and striking out 107 batters. He helped lead the squad to a 24-5 record and a Regional Semifinal appearance.Â
Radziewski stepped right into the Miami rotation as a freshman becoming their number 1 starter by the start of the ACC portion of the schedule. He had his ups and downs but was able to go 9-2 with a 3.36 ERA in 16 starts. He held opponents to a .252 batting average against while striking out 92 batters in 91.1 innings of work. His biggest issue was his control as he walked 37 batters while hitting 14 and tossing 12 wild pitches. These will have to go down in 2012 if Radiewski is expected to be a key part of the Hurricanes rotation in their run back to Omaha.

Radziewski’s a good kid with a bright future. Hope he graduates from the U and moves on to the pro’s. Stay health, work hard, study hard, never give up and never giveup on your dreams. Â
