College Baseball Daily has learned that the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide are no longer members of the NECBL. The team moved to Old Orchard Beach for the 2011 season after spending the previous 10 seasons in Lowell, Massachusetts.

The team faced some challenges at the gate this season averaging 455 fans for their 20 home dates which was still better then Mystic and Laconia.

College Baseball Daily will have more information as it comes available about the situation in Maine with the team.

Does anyone know whther the NECBL will have 11 or 12 teams in 2012–in other words will they transfer the OOB franchise to another city or just let it go?
