Incoming transfer Mason Hershey is looking to make an impact at East Tennessee State in 2012 after spending the previous two seasons at Potomac State (VA) Junior College. The third baseman/catcher had two strong seasons with the squad including leading them to the 2011 NJCAA World Series.

“We are very excited about Mason’s future at ETSU.  He comes from a tradition rich Junior College and played for a great coach in Doug Little at Potomac State,” stated ETSU head coach Tony Skole. ” Mason will have the opportunity to come in and make an impact right away.  He has great intangibles and his experience of playing on a big stage already will definitely help.  Mason has continued to improve his abilities every year and we feel very fortunate to have him at ETSU.”
