Here is your August 12th Cape Cod Baseball League Recap.

Harwich Mariners 5 Falmouth Commodores 4

Georgetown’s Mike Garza drove in two runs and East Carolina’s John Wooten hit a homer as Harwich defeated Falmouth 5-4 in game 1 of the Cape Cod Baseball League Championship series. Radford’s Eddie Butler got the win working 4.2 innings in relief giving up two runs. Holy Cross’s Nate Koneski got the loss giving up a run in four innings of relief.

Who’s error cost the unearned run? Probably Garcia see as he made 2. Now the Commodores are on the brink of extending their lack of championships to 31 years. If they can pull off a win tonite maybe momentum can lead them to the crown but the pressure is on.

Reid Redman made an error in the second inning which allowed Austin Wilson to reach first base with two outs in the inning. Jake Davies proceeded to score on a Matt Garza single which followed.
