Oregon catcher/outfielder Stefan Sabol will be transferring to a junior college according to a report from Baseball America. Sabol appeared in 39 games last season with the Ducks hitting .254 with a homer and 15 RBI during his freshman campaign. He has been spending this summer with the Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod Baseball League.  He has appeared in 22 games with a .300 average with five RBI.

This news is not the greatest for the Ducks as Sabol was expected to be a key contributor for the 2012 season after being selected in the 17th round of the 2010 MLB Draft out of high school. Sabol is expected to transfer to a junior college which will make him eligible for the 2012 MLB Draft. We have included his scouting report from MLB.com below and a video from his high school days.

I agree, I can only see the top of the article! What is going on? Couldn’t see the Florida State article and just looked at multiple stories and the same thing with all of them!

You definitely have had a problem with your website for the past week. When you click on the link to each feature article, only the first line shows. I’ve tried changing my settings with no luck. Again, this has only been a problem for the past week.

If you are using IE 6.0 it is no longer supported by this site or any site with the new wordpress. I highly recommend upgrading to the newest Mozilla or Google Chrome.
