2011 Super Regionals Hosts Announced

INDIANAPOLIS—The eight super-regional hosts were announced today by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee.

A minimum of 45 hours of super-regional television will be provided by family of ESPN channels, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU.  Consult local listings for specific games shown in each area of the country.  As many as 15 national broadcast windows could appear on the three ESPN networks from June 10-13.

The following four super regionals will be played Friday, June 10, Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12 (if necessary). The national seed is indicated before the team name, while updated records through the regionals are in parenthesis.

GAMES BEGIN FRIDAY, JUNE 10 – All Times are Eastern

Mississippi St. (37-23) at No. 2 Florida (48-16)
Noon (ESPN2HD), Noon (ESPNHD), 1 p.m. (ESPNHD)

Arizona St. (42-16) at No. 7 Texas (47-16)
7 p.m. (ESPNHD), 7 p.m. (ESPNHD), 7 p.m. (ESPN2HD)

Stanford (35-20) at No. 3 North Carolina (48-14

The determination of the Men’s College World Series order of first-round games both Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19, will be announced Monday, June 13. The ESPN family of networks and www.NCAA.com/cws will release the CWS game dates and times as soon as they are available.

The 65th College World Series begins play Saturday, June 18, at the new TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
