Here is your 2011 NCAA Fort Worth Regional Day 3 Recap.

Oral Roberts 8 TCU 4

FORT WORTH, Texas—Chris Elder’s two out grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning lifted Oral Roberts to an 8-4 elimination game victory over TCU, Sunday at Lupton Stadium. The Golden Eagles next face Dallas Baptist at 7 p.m. Sunday, and will need to win in order to force a decisive second game on Monday night.

Coupled with Saturday’s 7-0 win over Oklahoma, the Golden Eagles eliminated one-quarter of the 2010 College World Series field in their last two games.

With ORU (38-21) clinging to a 4-3 lead, Elder drove a 1-2 offering from Teddy Nowell over the wall in right field for his second career post-season grand slam to give the Golden Eagles an 8-3 lead. The home run was the sixth career post-season homer for Elder in 12 career postseason games.
