CBD Journal with Drew Fann (March 1st)

Anyone who was able to make it to Hawkins Field last weekend was greeted with three great college baseball games. The atmosphere on Saturday was phenomenal, and compares very favorably to a NCAA Regional site. The Stanford Cardinal are a very talented baseball team, and have a great chance of making the College World Series at the end of the year. CBD Journal with Western Illinois (March 1st)

Sometimes you have to just stop thinking and play ball. A 1-6 start is not where we saw ourselves after the first 7 games, but you can’t control the past. Hopefully we can relax and play ball now that the first win is out of the way after beating Georgia State 8-2. All we can do is take each game one at a time, play hard for the full 9 innings, and see what the results are at the end. If we can continue to progress and play with the same intensity as we did on Sunday, we will be a very good team. Read the rest of this entry »
