Aman Reaka’s Top 99 College Prospects (No. 1-24)

Welcome to my yearly Pre-season college baseball top 99 (draft eligible) players. (Part 1: 99-75|Part 2: 74-50|Part 3: 25-49) This list is not meant to be a prediction of draft position, although in some sense it wont be too far off. My list is more about who I think will have more success at the next level. This is not a science. It is purely my opinion after watching video, talking to scouts and scouting some of the players personally. This is the pre-season list which in all honesty shouldn’t really even be attempted. A chunk of these players won’t even be in the story by years end and many others will need to be included. This list is purely a vehicle to make you aware of what the college landscape and the MLB draft might look like. I will do this all over again after the college season is over. Questions and comments can be commented on below and you can also find me on Twitter @bkmhoxx. Read the rest of this entry »

Kentucky’s Season Depends On Three Players

It’s not how you start; it’s how you finish.

Four games below .500 is a disappointment. No team enters the season with high hopes of a 13-17 conference record with no postseason to show of it; But that is the type of season the University of Kentucky had to manage last year. However, the Wildcats do carry some momentum into the upcoming season. Read the rest of this entry »
