How does UNC sweep four games on the west coast, including a win at CS Fullerton, and “drop” from a #2 seed playing against arguably the worst #1 seed, to a #2 seed playing in the regional of the #5 national seed?

The NCAA does NOT seed 1-64 and uses local regionals when possible to cut down on travel costs. The 1-8 seeds are the only seeds in the tourney.

The NCAA doesn’t seed teams 1-64 and locality to save on travel costs is the most important.rnSent on the Sprintu00ae Now Network from my BlackBerryu00ae

boston college not in the discussion???? I hope you’re kidding.

I guess they are in the discussion but honestly they haven’t beat anyone yet. I doubt they make the ACC Tourney this year as I just don’t think the pitching staff is deep enough.
