The Citadel’s sophomore RHP Michael Clevinger has been removed from the team’s roster after being listed early this weekend. According to sources, Clevinger has left the school. The sophomore righty was expected to be a key part of the Bulldogs pitching rotation as he made 16 appearances (15 starts) while going 5-3 with an ERA of 5.15 in 92.2 innings pitched. He was even better in Southern Conference play as he went a perfect 4-0 with an ERA of 5.08 in 10 Southern Conference games. We should see how this affects The Citadel program in the upcoming season.
