2011 CBD Season Preview: Horizon League

Wright State won the 2010 Horizon League Regular Season title with a 17-6 overall record. Milwaukee finished in the runners-up position a game back with a 17-8 record while Illinois-Chicago finished third with a 15-9 record. Valparaiso came in fourth at 9-10 and Butler finished 11-13 for a fifth place finish. Youngstown State came in sixth with a 9-17 record and Cleveland State rounded out the conference with a 5-20 mark.

In the 2010 Horizon League Postseason Tournament, the Milwaukee Panthers went 4-1 with two victories over Valparaiso and Wright State while losing a game to Wright State also to win the conference’s automatic NCAA bid. They were sent to the Tempe, Arizona Regional where they went 0-2 with losses to Arizona State (6-2) and San Diego (22-1) to end their season.
