Alabama pitching coach Kyle Bunn resigned his position on Wednesday. According to a report from the Tuscaloosa News report, Bunn resigned over personal reasons.

Mitch Gaspard told the Tuscaloosa News about his plans to fill the opening:

“We’ll immediately start a search. My main focus right now is letting the players know. We’re moving forward. In the morning, I’ll start putting two and two together and try and get this thing cleaned up and have somebody in place. My goal is to have someone by Jan. 11 for when we meet back again. I’d like to have somebody in place at that time.”

Last season the Crimson Tige finished with a team ERA of 5.06 which was seventh best in the SEC last season.
