TCU to join the Big East

The TCU Horned Frogs have accepted an offer to join the Big East Conference as a full member starting in the 2012-2013 school year. This move is necessary for the Horned Frogs football program which is currently ranked third in the nation in the most recent polls but will upgrade the baseball program’s competition.

Last season, the Big East Conference received three bids to the NCAA baseball tournament while the Horned Frogs made the final four in the College World Series. If TCU joined the Big East this upcoming season, the conference would be considered at least the fourth best in the country after the SEC, ACC, and PAC 10.

The top of the conference for this season, I would with TCU, St. John’s, Uconn, and Louisville. I think each of those teams have a realistic chance to go to the CWS.rnrnBrian FoleyrnSent on the Sprintu00ae Now Network from my BlackBerryu00ae

Very true and I love the work Coach Prado has done with USF plus having a former MLB pitching coach on the staff doesn’t hurt at all!rnSent on the Sprintu00ae Now Network from my BlackBerryu00ae
