He enjoyed one of the finer seasons of his career pitching for the Triple-A level Acereros, posting a 4-2 record, 23 saves and a 2.64 ERA in 57 games. Hill earned a spot on the Mexican League All-Star Team that season as well. In 2009 he returned to the United States after signing with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He went 3-4 with 20 saves in 55 games for the Salt Lake Bees of the Pacific Coast League (AAA). Hill posted a career 20-26 record in the minors with 95 saves and a 3.58 ERA. He also struck out 400 batters in 397 inning pitched.

In addition to his playing career, Hill has served as a baseball instructor for Zoned Incorporated and as a personal trainer for New York Sports Club, Inc.

A native of Dallas, Texas, Hill is a 1996 graduate of W.T. White High School and also holds an associates degree from the University of Phoenix.
