Cotuit wins 2010 Cape Cod Baseball League Title

KettleersCotuit The Cotuit Kettleers won the 2010 Cape Cod Baseball League title by grabbing a 6-0 victory over Yarmouth-Dennis to win Game 3 of the CCBL Championship Series.  Brady Rodgers (Arizona State) started for the Kettleers going on 2.1 innings while giving up three hits and two walks but let up zero runs before being lifted for Nick Tropeano (Stony Brook). Tropeano would pitch the rest of the game for the Kettleers without giving up a hit while walking three batters to pick up the win.

 

Michael Yastrzemski (Vanderbilt) led the Cotuit offense by going 2-4 with a homer and two RBI in the win. Joey Hainsfurther (Baylor) went 3-5 with a run scored while Jordan Leyland (UC-Irvine), John Hinson (Clemson), and Brooks Pinckard (Baylor) all had two hits in the game.
