The Cotuit Kettleers picked up a 3-1 victory over the Wareham Gatemen to advance to the CCBL Championship series. They got a strong pitching performance from Bobby Shore (Oklahoma) who pitched seven innings allowing only two hits, one run, four walks, and five strikeouts. Brooks Pinckard (Baylor) pitched the final two innings without allowing a baserunner to finish off the 3-1 victory.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox scored seven runs in the second inning to jump out to an early 7-0 lead and cruised to a 13-4 victory over the Orleans Firebirds to advance to the Cape Cod Baseball League Championship Series.
