Old Dominion’s Jerry Meyers set to become Pitching Coach at South Carolina

JerryMeyers According to a report by TheBigSpur.com, Jerry Meyers will be the next pitching coach at South Carolina. Meyers has served the past six seasons as the head coach at Old Dominion where he had mixed success accumulating a record of 167-158 with his best finish coming in 2006 when they finished second in the conference.

This will be Meyers second stint at South Carolina as he served as an assistant for eight season from 1997-2004 where he helped the Gamecocks record a 474-152 record including three trips to the College World Series, three SEC Championships, and four SEC East titles.
