Florida State playing the Waiting Game with 2010 MLB Draft

TylerHoltFSU As many teams across the country besides South Carolina and UCLA, they are all playing the waiting game on which current college players will sign MLB contracts and the incoming freshman who were drafted that could sign and skip college. One school who this affects is Florida State which saw Tyler Holt selected in the 10th round by the Cleveland Indians and Mike McGee who was picked in the 41st round by the Arizona Diamondbacks after outstanding seasons from both of them. This doesn’t just mean the players on the Noles right now as they had five signees drafted including Kaleb Cowart who was selected in the first round by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Corey Clark of Nolesports.com has an excellent article about the situation which can be read by clicking here.
