Ray Tanner seems pretty enthused about heading to Omaha. He’s been there before, as he says, "What’s that been, 25 years?" Actually, the Gamecocks were a mainstay in Omaha from 2002-2004. Among other topics, Coach Tanner talks about being the National Runner-Up to Texas in the ’02 season, as well as the mentality of his team heading into the College World Series. South Carolina (48-15) faces off with Oklahoma (49-16) and will be the visiting team at 1 PM on Sunday, and could face off against in-state rival Clemson on Tuesday.
