South Carolina Head Coach Ray Tanner Talks About Heading to Omaha (VIDEO)

RayTannerSouthCarolina Ray Tanner seems pretty enthused about heading to Omaha. He’s been there before, as he says, "What’s that been, 25 years?" Actually, the Gamecocks were a mainstay in Omaha from 2002-2004. Among other topics, Coach Tanner talks about being the National Runner-Up to Texas in the ’02 season, as well as the mentality of his team heading into the College World Series. South Carolina (48-15) faces off with Oklahoma (49-16) and will be the visiting team at 1 PM on Sunday, and could face off against in-state rival Clemson on Tuesday.
