FORT WORTH, Texas – Willie Kempf turned in the longest outing of his career to lead Baylor to a 4-2 win over third-seeded Arizona in Sunday afternoon’s elimination game in the Fort Worth Regional at Lupton Stadium.

With the win, Baylor (36-23) advances to the championship round against regional-host TCU. The Bears and Horned Frogs meet at 7 p.m. Sunday night, and if Baylor wins, there will be a 7 p.m. rematch on Monday to determine the regional champion.

FORT WORTH, Texas – Steven Maxwell held the Baylor Bears scoreless over eight innings of action en route to leading the Horned Frogs to a 9-0 triumph in the championship game of the Fort Worth Regional on Sunday evening at Lupton Stadium.The victory gives TCU a school-record 49 victories on the season.

The 2010 Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Year dominated the Baylor offense, allowing three hits to go along with 10 strikeouts and two walks in the contest. With the victory, Maxwell improved his record to 11-1 on the season.
