AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn stayed alive in NCAA Regional play with a 17-8 win over Southern Miss on Sunday afternoon. With the win, Auburn will face Clemson tonight at 5:15pm CT in a must-win game for Auburn to force a winner-take-all game on Monday at 6pm CT.
Trent Mummey had a two doubles and a home run and tied a school record for RBI in a single post season game with five while Hunter Morris blasted a grand slam as Auburn hit four home runs in the game, marking the 36th time this season Auburn has hit multiple home runs in a game and the fourth straight.
