Ohio State set to name Kent State’s Stricklin head coach

Ohio State is set to name Kent State head coach Scott Stricklin according to a post from Kendall Rogers. He is set to replace Bob Todd who is retiring after 23 seasons leading the Buckeyes.

Aaron Fitt of Baseball America tweeted the following about the situation:

Kent State coach Scott Stricklin refutes rumor he will take Ohio State job. He texted: "No basis for that. Have not been contacted by them."

We should see what happens about this situation in the coming days but it is very odd timing for this news to break.
