ATLANTA – Matt Skole and Evan Martin delivered big two-RBI hits in Georgia Tech’s six-run, eighth-inning outburst Tuesday night, carrying the fourth-ranked Yellow Jackets to a 6-4 victory in the ninth Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Spring Baseball Classic at Turner Field.

Tech (35-7) won for just the second time in nine meetings between the two teams at Turner Field, before a crowd of 16,194 that braved a chilly and windy night and the threat of rain, and earned their first regular-season sweep of the Bulldogs since 1994. The Yellow Jackets took a 6-5 decision at Russ Chandler Stadium and a 25-6 win in Athens earlier in the season.

#17 Ole Miss 11 Murray State 10 (10 innings)

OXFORD, Miss. – Alex Yarbrough hit a walk-off home run in the 10th inning to push the Rebels to a third walk-off win in as many games as No. 14 Ole Miss (29-13) defeated Murray State (19-21) by a score of 11-10 on Tuesday.

It’s the second home run of the season or Yarbrough who hit a game-tying home run in the 8th inning against No. 5 LSU on Sunday to put the Rebels in position to claim a series sweep over the Tigers.

"That was a crazy baseball game," said Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco. "You have to credit Murray State for being down on the road and putting together that kind of inning. I love the way we responded when they tied it up in the eighth. Nobody panicked and everyone stayed focused.

CLARKSVILLE – Senior designated hitter Matt Kole kept his hot April going, hitting a game-tying grand slam as Austin Peay State University’s baseball team downed Vanderbilt, 5-4, in non-conference action, Tuesday night at Raymond C. Hand Park.

Austin Peay (22-18) was trailing 4-0 entering the sixth inning. Leadoff hitter Reed Harper reached on a walk and reached second courtesy a Vanderbilt error that allowed second baseman Jon Clinard to reach base. Centerfielder Jared DeLong singled to load the bases, bringing Kole to the plate.

Tennessee 13 Belmont 5

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Junior Blake Forsythe crushed his second grand slam of the season and finished with a career-high tying five RBIs as the University of Tennessee baseball team cruised to a 13-5 triumph over Belmont on Tuesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville.

"It’s always good to get a win, especially tonight because we needed to keep our momentum going into the weekend," UT Head Coach Todd Raleigh said. "I thought all of our pitchers threw well tonight. (Steven) Gruver gave us a solid start and (Will) Locante and (Alan) Walden were the best I’ve seen them all year. I’m happy with where our pitching is at right now and it helps that we’ve been scoring some runs and doing some good things at the plate. Obviously, Blake was huge for us today, it seemed like (Josh) Liles was on base all night and I was glad to see Khayyan (Norfork) stay patient and walk three times.
