FGCU loses another Catcher

FGCULogo Florida Gulf Coast lost freshman catcher Mike Reeves on Wednesday night for the rest of the season when he took an inside pitch on his left thumb. The pitch ended up breaking his thumb where two pins where inserted to stabilize it.

This is the second catcher this season to go down for FGCU as Robert Greene has been relegated to DHing as he suffered an ulnar collateral ligament damage just before the start of the season.

FGCU is expected to take junior all-conference third baseman Tim Roberson and move him to catcher while outfielder Austin Gaines will take over at third base.
