As we continue to look at some of the top freshmen in the country, The Florida Times Union has an excellent article on Florida freshman and Jacksonville native Austin Maddox. He is currently leading the Gators with in average (.378), hits (37), doubles (eight), homers (seven) and RBI (33). The Gators will take on the Florida State Seminoles tonight in Maddox’s home town of Jacksonville in the team’s third matchup of the season.
