Mitchell resigns at Alabama A&M

AlabamaAM Demetris Mitchell resigned as Alabama A&M head coach on Monday as announced by the athletic department. On Tuesday evening, the bulldogs took on Auburn where they lost by a score of 11-1 and were led by former head coach Jay Martin who left the program after the 2009 season. Martin will also serve as the coach on Wednesday evening when they take on Auburn in the second game of a two game set.

The Alabama A&M Athletic Department will make a formal decision on the coaching duties of the program in the coming days according to a press release which can be read by clicking here.
