One of my favorite college baseball beat writers in the country Chuck Carree of The StarNews recently had a chance to talk with Duquesne head coach Mike Wilson whose squad will be taking on UNC-Wilmington this weekend. This is an interesting season for Wilson as this will be his 17th and final season on the bench with the Dukes as it will be the last season of baseball at the school. The interesting part of the article is the fact that Wilson has to deal with many different factors that most Division 1 coaches don’t have to deal with like being the team’s grounds keeper, equipment manager and traveling secretary among other things.
