AccBaseballLogo The ACC squads are back in action this weekend with a couple of marquee series taking place in Florida. The Georgia Bulldogs from the SEC head down to Tallahassee to take on the Florida State Seminoles. This weekend’s series will be the first real test for the Noles as they are sporting a 7-0 record with three game sweeps over Georgia State and Hofstra while winning a midweek game over the Florida Gators in Tampa. The other big series is the Florida Gators heading down to Coral Gables to take on the Miami Hurricanes. The Gators have a 5-1 overall record as they did not play last weekend as LaSalle had travel troubles while Miami has a 6-1 record which includes victories over Manhattan and Rutgers while defeating South Florida in Tampa on Tuesday.

Clemson and South Carolina is another instate matchup in the ACC this weekend as the schools play a three game set where each team will host a game and one game will be played at a neutral site.

The other weekend matchups see Virginia in action with two games against each Wright State and the 2009 Ivy League champion Dartmouth at Davernport Field in Charlottesville. Rutgers will be entertained by Georgia Tech, Michigan heads to Chapel Hill to play the Tar Heels, Boston College heads to Florida Atlantic, Hofstra visits Maryland, Long Island heads to Virginia Tech, Quinnpiac at NC State, Temple at Duke, and Wake Forest hosts Temple.
