Nathan Summer of The Daily Reflector checks in on the East Carolina program which is looking to take the next step this season with a trip to Omaha. Last season, the Pirates finished with a 46-20 overall record while going 17-7 in Conference USA. They also advanced to the Super Regional round where they bowed out with back to back losses to North Carolina to end the season.
