South Carolina’s Ebert “unlikely” to start season

SouthCarolina South Carolina senior first baseman Nick Ebert will likely be on the sidelines at the start of the season. Ebert is currently academically ineligible after getting an incomplete in one of his fall classes. The four players competing for his spot in the lineup are seniors Jeffery Jones and Parker Bangs, junior Robert Beary and sophomore Michael Roth.
