Stanford’s Toby Gerhart is skipping his final year of football eligibility in the fall by withdrawing from school to focus his efforts on preparing for the 2010 NFL Draft. Gerhart was also a member of the Cardinal baseball team for the last three season as he appeared in 55 games during the 2009 season hitting .288 with seven homers and 36 RBI.

I was looking forward to the Stanford/Texas Series in February but with Gerhart leaving I might have to watch a tournament instead!
