The CBB continues our countdown for the 2010 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.
We continue the list today with number 90 in our countdown with Florida Southern junior RHP Daniel Tillman. He is a 6’1 195 pound righhander from Live Oak, Florida and Suwannee High School. He was a third-team all-state selection in his junior and senior season.
In his freshman campaign in 2008, he made 20 appearances (one start) where he had a 3-1 record including five saves with an ERA of 1.80 while striking out 29 batters in 25 innings. He also help opponents to a .260 average against him.
The 2009 season saw Tillman continue his role as a closer on the team as he made 24 appearances (four starts) while having a 4-2 record 
including 12 saves with a 3.15 ERA. He finished the season with 62 strikeouts in his 54.1 innings of work while holding opponents to a .221 batting average.
Daniel spent the summer of 2009 with the Cotuit Kettleers where he served as the closer on the team. He had a record of 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 16 appearances out of the bullpen while picking up five saves. He struck out 31 batters in his 22 innings of work while holding the opposition to a batting average of .181. He was selected for the Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star game but did not see action due to the weather shortening the game. Baseball America rated him the 28th best pro prospect in the league.
