Here is the 5th part of the small sampling of the best prep school players in the state of Texas. These prep players are in the middle of making a tough decision on where to play baseball for the next 3-4 seasons. The early signing period officially begins on November 11 and ends eight days later on November 19th.

57. Joee Reyna, 2B/RHP 5-10 180 Cedar Hill High School Cedar Hill Texas, Jr. hitting .580 with nine doubles, three triples and 27 RBIs. He had just three errors all season at second base, 1st Team All-District 7-5A, Earned 1st Team All-Area Baseball Team DFW, Earned Honorable Mention on the TSWA All-State Baseball Team, 2009 Longhorn Offensive player of the year. 59. John Simms RHP R / R 6-3 190 – The District 14-5A MVP 9-2 record, while boasting a 1.27 ERA in 83 innings. He had 121 strikeouts against only 25 walks. Jace Statum– Orangefield High School, Orange, Texas-Utility Player of the Year on the All-Orange Leader Baseball Team, was named one of the Top 10 players in Orange County, batted .462 with 49 runs, 26 RBI, 13 doubles and four homer his Junior Year, Was named to the 2nd Team All-State as an OF, Member of the Texas Sun Devils Summer Select Team. Ryan Walker, Arlington Martin High School, Arlington, Texas Jr. District 4-5A offensive player of the year, 1st Team All Area Baseball Team Dallas Morning News, Earned 1st team 2009 Star Telegram Baseball Super Team, Walker hit a whopping .545 in district play and finished the year with nine doubles, three triples and 30 RBIs. Erich Weiss 2B/SS/P R/L 6-2 175- Brenham High School, Brenham, Texas-named the District 18-4A MVP, batted .457 with 17 doubles, four triples and three home runs while driving in 35 runs, was a first-team selection on the Texas Sports Writers Association Class 4A all-state team. Chase Wellbrock,RHP R/L 5-9 165 Brenham High School, Brenham, Texas- went 12-1 on the season, including a 4-1 record in the postseason, 1st Team All-District pitcher-18-4A, was named to the second team on the Texas Sports Writers Association Class 4A all-state team. These are all good picks. They all deserve to be up there, from what I read anyways. All their records look in tip top shape. I could never do as good as they are doing. Alex Silver definitely deserves the top of this list as looks like he’s doing the best. But all the players are really good, and it’s really hard to pick from all the really good players out there.

Hey Marcus thanks for the comments. I would have been very difficult to put these young men from #1 to #70- So, What I did was list them in alphabetical order.
