KevinAtkinson Jordan Rawlyk (transferring from Monterey Peninsula JC to Sonoma State), Brandon Kaye (transferring from Douglas College to British Columbia) and Matt Bannister (British Columbia) combined for a no-hitter in a mercy-rule-shortened 14-0 win over The Bahamas.

Rawlyk went five innings, struck out seven, walked three. Kaye, who was drafted in the 45th round by the Blue Jays, pitched the sixth inning, and threw only five pitches. Bannister pitched the seventh inning.

Kevin Atkinson (New Mexico) was the offensive star. He went 5-5 with two HR’s, two doubles, and six RBI.

Team Canada is now 2-1 in the tournament. The Canadians will play Germany on Wednesday while The Bahamas are back in action against Team USA on Tuesday.
