The final day of my trip to Omaha is coming to a close. We went out to the local stores to get some souvenirs for the trip and I ended up getting a UC-Irvine hat which will go next to my Vanderbilt hat. They had an excellent selection from team’s across the country with even a Lehigh baseball hat available. Who would really buy a Lehigh hat? The blog went to both games of the doubleheader today with UNC and Texas both winning. The UNC game was really a blowout from the beginning while Texas made a great comeback against Arizona State overcoming a 6-0 deficit to win 10-6. I will be flying all day tomorrow and will be updating the site with all the news and notes from the College World Series from the comfort of my home.
