Bryan Roy of OCVarsity.com has an excellent article on Tyler Matzek. He has signed to play for Oregon next spring but things changed recently as he was picked with the 11th overall pick by the Colorado Rockies in the recently held 2009 MLB Draft. Matzek states that he is still keeping his options open to heading to Eugene to play under George Horton next year but we all know that Matzek would have to turn down a ton of money to go to college.
