Tallahassee, Fla. – Andrew Darr doubled off the center field wall to score two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give No. 16 Arkansas a dramatic 9-8 win over No. 4 Florida State clinching a trip for the Razorbacks to the College World Series Saturday afternoon at Dick Howser Stadium.

The Razorbacks boasted a 7-5 lead with two outs in the top of the ninth inning and were one strike short of ending the game twice before the Seminoles rallied to take a 8-7 lead. Bo Bigham drew a one-out walk and advanced to second on a sharp single off the bat of Zack Cox. Darr then hammered the first pitch of his at bat to the wall in left center field for the game-winning extra-base hit.

Arkansas’ Stephen Richards (6-1) earned the win in relief while Florida State Jack Posey (0-1) was saddled with the loss.
