Here is your recap of the second day of action in the 2009 ACC Baseball Tournament.


The WAC tournament begins today and the six teams that are participating are the six teams that were picked in the preseason to be in Honolulu at the end of the season. However, that’s where the good prognostication ends.

In this week’s regional projections from The College Baseball Blog, the top six national seeds remain unchanged. The LSU Tigers keep their top national seed after finishing the regular season as the SEC co-champion. Texas, UC Irvine, North Carolina, Cal State Fullerton, and Arizona State maintain the two through six seeds respectively. 
Here is your ACC Tournament Day 1 Recap for May 20th. Miami (FL) picked up a 8-6 victory over Georgia Tech while FSU picked up a 7-2 win over Boston College. In the nightcap, UNC grabbed a 8-3 victory.
